Hot Mix Sparkolloid® NF is specially formulated to clarify wine without impacting aroma, body or flavor. It can be also used after bentonite or carbon fining to help compact lees. Hot Mix Sparkolloid NF can be helpful in removing haze left by other fining agents.
Contains a positive charge.
Add no more than 2.5g (about 1/2 teaspoon) of sparkolloid powder to 1/4 cup of boiling water
Stir constantly until dissolved
Stir in to wine whilst still hot
Let the wine settle one week or more before bottling.
Storage: Keep tightly sealed and dry. Shelf life is 4 years at 18ºC(65ºF).
