20 litre food grade plastic bucket with lid. AKA pails or polypails.
About 41cm height and 30cm top diameter
If you're not making wine in it - they're also great for storing food or water!
Once you've made a couple of batches of wine you will find that having more than 1 bucket is very handy! Makes storing your smaller equipment easier, as well as straining and aerating your wine.
This can also be used as your fermentation vessel instead of a jar / carboy / demijohn as a more economical solution. Drill a hole in the lid, add a rubber grommet and insert your airlock in the grommet. But not recommended as a vessel for maturing or storage of your wine.
There is a tamper evident teartab on these buckets. This makes them suitable for packaging products for sale. The tear tab will need to be removed to take the lid back off the bucket.
The buckets are commercial grade so the ease of putting on and taking off the lid will always be much harder than a domestic kitchen product. A bucket opener (select using the right hand side drop-down box) may be useful to open. The lid will generally stretch & soften fractionally with use which is enough to be able to open and close more easily.
