FLAVOCLEAN is an active vegetal charcoal, used for deodorising juice and wines, especially against certain tastes: mould, and vegetal (IPMP). Flavoclean in an inert active charcoal with a high adsorbing capacity in regard to certain wine taints. It shows a relatively low capacity for discolouring.
Maximum 1g per litre of wine. Start much lower and add more if needed.
Rack wine off sediiment.
Mix into a small amount of cooled boiled water then mix into wine thoroughly.
Rack after 24 hours (maximum 48 hours).
Recommend fining with bentonite after racking off Flavoclean
