UNPAID ORDERS: We despatched orders upon receiving payment. makewine does not offer credit accounts. We do not have the facility to manage unpaid orders, so orders remaining unpaid after 1 week will be cancelled. You are welcome to order again when you are ready to pay.
Our packaging is selected on functionality and cost effectiveness but is often varying degrees of ugly. It may be recycled packaging or if your order includes bucket/s it may be packed in an UNUSED NEW black rubbish bag. Recycled packaging reduces environment footprint and prices paid by customers. We are always looking for ways to reduce & preferably eliminate our environmental footprint. If you have contacts for compostable, cost effective, secure supply-chain, ethical, traceable packaging we appreciate hearing from you. info at makewine dot co dot nz.
For NZ orders: to avoid delay please provide NZ address as per the NZ Post database. For addresses not on the database we do not provide a guarantee as to delivery.
For international orders - address must be on your local postal service database. We guarantee transit to your country's border but any border issues are at your risk.
RURAL under $90: Please select rural shipping if you are a rural address. We have no control over which addresses are RD. If a rural address is provided but urban shipping selected reserve the right to cancel your order and refund LESS paypal fees. Order processing will be delayed. It is faster and cheaper for you in the long run if you just select rural shipping if you are rural. If you are not sure please check your address at the NZ Post database.
Please include a CONTACTLESS delivery instruction which is no more than 30 characters. If you provide an instruction which is more than 30 characters we will need to abbreviate - it is your responsibility if our abbreviated instruction is inaccurate causing a problem with delivery.
Couriers can prove an item has been delivered to your address by GPS and / or photo. Once the parcel is on your property, responsibility transfers from makewine to you. Our guarantee as to delivery is to your property.
Unless advised otherwise, we will assume your order has arrived safely within the timeframe - 1-3 working days for North Island, 2-4 working days for South Island, allow 2-3 extra days for rural. Missing, slow or damaged items are unusual but do happen. Please inform us within 2 working days to ensure there is no exponential delay and to protect your guarantee. Government restrictions will usually cause delays in Covid 19 levels 2+
If your parcel does not arrive within the expected timeframe or arrives damaged, please let us know immediately. If you do not let us know immediately we may not be able to replace or refund your parcel.
Occasionally orders do get damaged in transit or lost.
